I have been a huge supporter of our president since the beginning but now I am extremely angry! My brother is going back to Afghanistan. Am I wrong for being upset with our president?

Why should it be wrong? He's a human being, and he's not perfect. I'd worry about anyone who supports everything he does and says, since I doubt those people support and agree with 100% of everything their loved ones say. It just says that you're not one of those hypocrites who hated Bush (I disliked Bush) and everything he did, yet when Obama re-signed some of the bills that Bush did, they didn't freak out (The very same bills they would freak out on Bush for). There's nothing wrong with it.

This is a democracy! If you don't voice your opinion it won't be heard. If you're unhappy with the way the war is going in Afghanistan then let it be known that you don't agree with the commander-in-chief on this one.

Remember this, You can be upset all you like about your brother shipping off to Afghanistan. But he knew what he was getting into when he signed on the dotted line. He did it because he wants to protect your freedom and writes and our home land from terrorist. So don't be angry be proud

Please remember that our country and it's people's best interest has to be protected. Your brother is a brave soul that is honored to serve his country. Although, I never agreed with the war all, I appreciated those brave souls who helped protect the American people. I also understand that the president doesn't totally make these decisions on their own. Congress has to agree. McCain is even supporting our president on this one. I have lost several loved ones in this war that has been going on since 2001, so I truly know how you feel.
